It’s 4:11 this morning, and I have awoken at the fourth hour, (between 3am-5am), a time known for spiritual revelation, awakening, and warfare. At this critical time, I am aware that spiritual battles often intensify, but I am not afraid. I employ the weapons given to me by God for this battle. I am here to exercise, demonstrate, and declare victory in advance, standing firm on the victory already achieved by the blood of Jesus Christ.
I have come to understand the profound importance of this moment, recognizing the tongue’s power—a small yet mighty organ defined by God to have the capacity to give life or death. Recently, I discovered that the human tongue is not just one muscle but is comprised of eight muscles working in harmony. Eight is the number of new beginnings, a symbolic reminder that every day offers a new chance to choose our words wisely and impactfully.
In a dream, I found myself in two distinct rooms, each representing different stages of life and understanding. In the first room, a small group of men shared an air of excitement and anticipation. These men were eager and ready for whatever was to come, connected by a common spirit of purpose and passion. They embodied the spirit of those who are prepared to receive and appreciate the opportunities life presents. Importantly, these men understood that they were not in competition with anyone else; their focus was on surpassing their previous personal bests and building on their past accomplishments. They were competing only against their own potential, striving to become the best versions of themselves.
The second room was different. Here, I encountered a group of men who had dedicated themselves to being the best in their respective fields. This room was symbolic of the “big leagues” across various disciplines. These men were striving to reach the highest level of success in their chosen professions, not just in sports but in any field where excellence is recognized and rewarded. The reference to the NBA serves as an example of the broader concept of the big leagues, illustrating their desire to enter the highest level of their professions.
These men, despite their talents and dedication, had not reached the big leagues during their prime. However, their current calling is about entering the highest level of their respective disciplines now that they have reached a level of maturity and readiness. Their initial exclusion from the big leagues is not a reflection of their lack of ability but rather a divine timing that required their growth and preparation. Now, they are being selected to enter the big leagues, ready to contribute their seasoned wisdom and skills.
As I entered the second room, I could sense a mixture of disbelief and resentment among the men. They felt that I didn’t belong there, yet they could not deny my presence or the accomplishments that validated my being among them. One man, who carried the presence and natural talent reminiscent of Allen Iverson, exemplified a gifted athleticism that affords him access to elite levels of performance. Unlike Kobe Bryant, known for his intense dedication to practice and the study of basketball, this man relies heavily on his innate abilities. His natural flair and raw talent are evident, but he, and others like him, have allowed their disappointments and delays to cloud their perspective, murmuring and complaining about the perceived injustices of their past.
My role in this dream was to bring a message: these men are now being granted entry into the big leagues—not just in basketball but in the highest level of their respective fields. This opportunity, which they had once dreamed of but were not ready to handle in their younger years, is now theirs to seize. Now, in their maturity, they are being called to contribute as valuable members who can enhance the integrity and excellence of their fields. Their entry is not about what they had missed but about what they are now prepared to offer. It is a chance for a new beginning, aligned with the symbolic eight muscles of the tongue that speak life into every new day.
This dream reveals a powerful truth: the timing of our opportunities often coincides with our readiness to handle them. The men in the second room are being honored not for what they had missed but for who they have become through their journey. Their previous exclusion was a divine setup for this moment of inclusion, where their experiences and growth would now be fully appreciated and utilized.
Reflecting on this, I realize the importance of our words and attitudes in shaping our destiny. Just as the tongue’s eight muscles work together to form words, our collective experiences and choices shape our future. Today, I choose to speak life and gratitude. I embrace the philosophy of kaizen, the continuous improvement and seeing value in all things, knowing that every situation is an opportunity for growth. This mirrors the scripture that reminds us all things are working together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
I declare that my tongue will be used to affirm life, express appreciation, and uplift those around me. I appreciate all that has been accomplished in my journey thus far, recognizing the growth and deepening of my relationship with my Savior. Every experience has contributed to my current level of understanding and enjoyment of life with Him. I acknowledge the beauty of this process and the joy that comes with constantly improving and aligning my life with God’s will.
I cancel all plans of the enemy designed to cause harm or confusion in my life, in Jesus’ name. I affirm that I am redeemed, healed, and delivered. No weapon formed against me will prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment is condemned. I am blessed today in every aspect of my life, and I will continue to seek fellowship with Christ and our Father in heaven, fully aware of the power and purpose of my words.
This day, and every day, I choose to use the gift of my tongue to speak life, to build up, and to embrace the new beginnings that God has set before me. May this be a reminder to us all of the power we hold in our words and the divine timing that aligns our lives with God’s perfect will. Let us be grateful for the journey, for the growth it brings, and for the opportunities that await us when we are truly ready to receive them.
Today, I stand in the assurance that victory is already mine through Jesus Christ. In the midst of any spiritual battle, I am equipped and prepared, not by my strength, but by the power of God working through me, guiding my words, and shaping my path. Let us continue to grow in grace, appreciating each step and continuously improving, knowing that all things truly work together for good.
As you reflect on this testimony, I encourage you to say this prayer and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your own life.
